Colour in the garden

By combining the right colours, a boring landscape can look adorable.

Beautiful and unusual plants

When I was living in Newfoundland I came across these two beautiful and interesting but rarely found plants. The first one, Sambucus racemosa 'Sutherland Gold' is a magnificent tree with gorgeous foliage. It grew very fast, even for Newfoundland standards. The second plant is a low growing, Chiastophyllum oppositifolium, equally beautiful but difficult to find. They were a wonderful part of my collection. I have not seen any of these plants in Victoria.
